Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden is the fifth of her brothers born to La Jolla on 14 August 1959. Beverly Bushfield was the mother of her child and Thad Harden being in active military service, was the father. She first developed an interest in theatre while living alongside her parents in Greece as well as attending shows in Athens. Harden was a student at American Universities in Europe and then came back to the US in 1983 to finish her studies at the University of Texas. She earned an MFA from NYU and started acting. Her previous roles included one movie in 1986 in The Imagemaker, but her debut role in a major film was Miller's Crossing, the Coen Brothers' offbeat, clever tribute to gangster films. Harden was recognized for her sexy performance in Verna. Harden continued to work steadily as an actor supporting the character, portraying Ava Gardner in Sinatra (92) which was a biopic made for TV from Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
