Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first job out of school was in the real estate industry. That's how she met her partner, Tarek El Moussa. The couple had a very successful business until 2008 when real estate investors, house flippers, and others went bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa & Christina El Moussa nearly bankrupted by the crash in stocks in 2008. They were living in a home that cost $6,000 per month to a house that cost $700 a month. The company slowly recovered and their economy. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 asked a friend to aid him in making an HGTV tape that showed Christina as well as him flipping an entire house from beginning to end. Pie Town Productions, a production company based located in New York City got the tape. These executives were in love with Tarek, Christina and their story. Christina and Tarek acquired houses located in Orange County that were usually homes with a middle-income. Then they spent a few weeks renovating the house so that they can flip it into a profitable profit. Tarek does the demolition and renovation while Christina is focused on designing while also making sure everything stays on schedule.
